CCPT 2026 Summary – Event 4- March 18, 2026

Event Summary Tony's Poker Palace - CCPT 2026 - Event 4 - March 18, 2026

CCPT 2026: Tony’s Rollercoaster and the Return of the Traveler

The cards were in the air at Joe’s Poker Palace for Event #4 of the 2026 CCPT season, and while the field was an intimate group of five, the drama was outsized. Between a dominant start, a spectacular implosion, and a long-awaited return, the leaderboard underwent a major shakeup.

The Tony Paradox: From Hero to Zero

The story of the night was undoubtedly Tony. He stepped into Joe’s Palace with a mission to climb out of the basement, and for the first half of the evening, he looked untouchable.

Tony swept Game 1 and Game 2, taking the top spot in both and pocketing a cool $80 for his efforts. He was “storming back” in the most literal sense—until the wheels didn’t just come off; they disintegrated. In Game 3, fresh off his back-to-back wins, Tony suffered a legendary “implosion,” becoming the first player out with a 5th-place finish. It was a polar-opposite performance that kept the table laughing and his rivals breathing a sigh of relief.

The Return of the Globetrotter

While Tony provided the fireworks, John provided the consistency. Making his “triumphant return” from world travels, John showed no signs of jet lag or rust.  John  was the bridesmaid of the evening, securing three 2nd-place finishes. Those silver medals added up fast, earning him 13 points—the highest total of the night—proving that “slow and steady” is a dangerous strategy in the CCPT.

The Basement Shuffle

While some moved up, someone had to hold the floor. Keith struggled to find his rhythm at Joe’s, ultimately inheriting the “basement” for the nightly points with a total of 9. Meanwhile, Dan continued his streak of quiet success, maintaining his “newcomer” momentum by staying competitive in the middle of the pack and keeping his net winnings in the green.

Year-to-Date: The Battle for the Top

The movement on the leaderboard after Event #4 has created some serious tension heading into April.

Points & Rankings

Joe has reclaimed the #1 spot on the leaderboard (6,550 points), narrowly jumping over Luc, who dropped to #2 (6,150 points) in his absence. Tony’s wild night was enough to catapult him from 5th all the way to 3rd place (5,950 points), officially completing his journey from the basement to the podium.

The Money Trail

When looking at the Net Winnings, the season remains tight. Despite his wild night, Tony is still digging out of a hole at -$30, while Luc remains the season’s “Money King” with $85 in net profit. Keith sits at a perfectly balanced $0, and Danremains one of the few players in positive territory with a $5 net gain.

Rivalries & Looking Ahead

The rivalry to watch is now the three-way dance between Tony, Keith, and Dan, who are separated by only 100 points. Tony has the momentum, but Keith and Dan have the consistency. And of course, everyone is wondering if Luc will return for the next event to reclaim his lost crown from Joe.

Next Event: April 1st (No joke!)

Location: Tony’s Poker Palace

Will Tony maintain his home-court advantage, or will we see another Game 3-style implosion? One thing is for sure: after an amazing evening of fun at Joe’s, the CCPT 2026 season is just heating up.
