Event Summary - Tony's Poker Palace - CCPT 2026 - Event 6 - October 14, 2026
♠️ CCPT WEEKLY RECAP & SHAKEUP AT TONY’S POKER PALACE ♣️
Subject: 👑 NEW KING CROWNED! Tony Takes #1 | Event #7 Set for Oct 28 @ Joe’s Poker Palace! 🍻
🔥 THE SHAKEUP IS COMPLETE: TONY REIGNS SUPREME!
What a night at Tony’s Poker Palace! The smoke was thick, the bad beats were brutal, and when the last chip stack collapsed, the entire 2026 leaderboard was turned upside down. 4 of a kind hands reigned supreme!
The biggest storyline of the night? Joe’s iron grip on 1st place has officially been broken. After holding down the crown for five straight weeks, Joe suffered a slip-up, dropping to 2nd place with 7,900 points.
Taking advantage of the moment, Tony put on a clinic on his home turf, surging into 1st place overall with 8,000 points! This included a win and 2 seconds. Tony now leads the tour with 5 event victories and a staggering $290 in gross winnings (+$80 net). Joe isn’t going away quietly, though—he’s tied with Tony at 5 wins each, sitting just 100 points behind in what is shaping up to be the rivalry of the season!
🍻 WELCOMING THE NEW BLOOD!
We officially welcomed three new contenders to the CCPT turf: Steve, Randy, and Kim!
- Steve made an immediate splash, firing off 4 games, securing a 1st place finish, and walking away in the black with +$5 net winnings and 12 points (10th place). Not a bad way to announce your arrival!
- Randy (11th place – 9 pts) and Kim (12th place – 7 pts) took some initial lumps in their debut 4 games, but they showed zero fear at the table. Watch out for these two once they get a read on the regulars!
📊 NIGHT OF WINNERS & LOSERS
🏆 THE BIG WINNERS
- Luc (“The Efficiency Machine”): Luc continues to play absurdly high-level poker. Sitting in 4th overall (7,150 pts), Luc boasts a league-leading 59.69% In-The-Money rate, an incredible 3.94 points per game, and leads the entire tour in profit at +$110 net cash!
- Dan: Consistency personified! Dan bagged another strong performance to hold down 3rd place overall (7,600 pts) with a deadly 53.58% ITM rate and 3 wins on the year.
