Event #2 of the 2026 Carleton County Poker Tour (CCPT) brought together an elite field of five hardened competitors. By “elite,” we of course mean five guys who know each other’s bluffs, snack preferences, and bad-beat stories by heart.

Hosted at Joe’s Poker Place on February 18, the night promised drama. It delivered. It also delivered what some are calling “the most statistically suspicious heater in CCPT history.”

🎯 The Night’s Point Battle

With 54 total points up for grabs across four rounds, the race was tight from the first shuffle.

Points – Event #2

• Joe – 13

• Asbell – 11

• Tony – 8

• Duane – 8

Luc edged out Joe by a single point in the nightly standings, putting together a consistent 5-5-3-1 performance across the four rounds. Calm. Calculated. Dangerous.

Joe, meanwhile, posted a rollercoaster 4-3-1-5 line. Quiet early. Explosive late. Suspiciously explosive.

Asbell made his presence known with an 11-point effort, highlighted by a big 5-point round. Tony and Duane split 8 points each, both showing flashes of brilliance mixed with moments they would prefer never be mentioned again (but will be).
