My photo ” Fly Backdrop” was selected as the Top Guru Pick in the 100 Top Photographers Challenge. This shot was taken on July 22, 2023 in my yard. The garden is always a great spot for macro photography. When the garden is in bloom you can often find my tri -pod and remote release trigger setup and ready to go. I did convert this to black and white and brought up the contrast. Would have liked the fly been sharper but over happy with the composition and the flower as a backdrop to the image. I will try for more this summer!
