CCPT 2024 Summary – Event 8 – May 22

CCPT event 8 at Joe’s Poker Palace saw an intense competition. The hard-charging Pete is within 250 points of becoming the new leader. Ben had a stellar night, winning a 1st and a 2nd place for 16 points. Pete was a close second with 15 points, securing two wins and a 2nd place finish. The small field faded quickly, with Joe earning 10 points, Mark 9, and Tony finishing last with 4 points. Following the lead from the previous week, Pete dominated the money night with $90 , while Ben came in a close second with $75 . The next event will be held at Joe’s Poker Palace on June 5th. This is expected to be the last event before the summer break, however if there is enough interest, the group can continue to post and play over the summer. Mark and I can rotate hosting.
