Moxies
From Their Website:
While our passion for hospitality remains the core of who we are – we have taken time to make key changes across our restaurants, modernizing the brand to attract new and returning guests, coast to coast.
It’s more than just dropping the apostrophe from our name. We added new unique menu items our guests crave, developed operational standards focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences, created a new brand identity (yes, a new logo without the apostrophe) and a new website – all focused on modernizing the brand and bringing the new era of Moxies to life.
Under the expert hand of Executive Chef Brandon Thordarson, Moxies is serving up a globally inspired menu made with high quality ingredients, artfully crafted cocktails, and decadent desserts, unique to Moxies and all made in house. While no two Moxies restaurants are the same, we guarantee that when you walk through any of our doors, you’ll be exactly where you want to be.
My Review
I am normally not a chain restaurant fan, but we decided to go to this location for my son’s convocation. We were a party of 4 and they seated us in a nice sunny part of the restaurant under a glass domed. I started the evening with a glass of red Sangria. The flavor was nice, fruit was very fresh a pleasant starting cocktail. We then order appetizers, I ordered a nice shrimp cocktail. The evening was pleasant with lots of conversation, fun, and laughter. We did notice that our appetizers seemed to be taking a very long-time, so I called the waiter over to check. Just as I did that our mains showed up, so they totally messed up our appetizer order. I ended up cancel the appetizers. My main course was tenderloin steak that was cooked at the perfect temperature, very juicy, and with great texture. To his credit, the waiter, took the appetizers off the bill and gave us free deserts. I would call that a good recovery and was pleased with how they handled it. The desert consisted of a 2-Mile-High Mocha Pie. Now this was a huge piece of pie, probably 1/4 of the cake. Additionally we tried the Key Lime pie for sharing. Both the deserts turned out very good. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and the bill a bit cheaper than expected at $$$.

The wine that accompanied Dinner: Highly Recommend
From CheapWine Reviews.comIt’s pleasant on the nose, although not to powerful. It offers aromas such as apple peel, raspberry, licorice and cola. In the mouth it’s a light-bodied wine with fresh blackberry and black cherry flavors. The acidity is enough to bring life to the fruit and the tannins are soft, but add a touch of texture. It finishes with cherry and vanilla flavors and medium length. Overall, this is a great wine for the price.
