Day trips to longer vacations is what I seek. This could be festivals, events, concerts, points of interest. Anything the catches my interest.
Photography
This is a major hobby for me so anything photographic is of interest. This includes contests, clubs and excursions.
Food Exploration
Anything food related is a point of interest. This can be enjoying or learning.
Wine enjoying and education
Anything wine or food related is a point of interest. This can be enjoying or learning.
There are things to see and do anywhere. There is beauty in the smallest rural area and the biggest urban cityscape. Our job as humans is the find and explore it!

Early sixties professional looking to explore with my camera.
I have had an interest in photography for about 10 years. I expect to spend my time on my hobby when I retire in a few years. In recent years I joined a photography club and started to educate myself on the art.
